JD 스포츠 해킹, 10만 고객 데이터 유출 JD Sports Hacked
1월 30일, 영국 JD 스포츠 그룹(JD Sports Fashion Plc)은 공식 성명을 통해 10만 고객 데이터가 유출되는 해킹이 발생했음(JD Sports Hacked)을 알렸다.
JD 스포츠 그룹은 2018년 11월~2020년 10월 사이, JD 그룹 산하의 JD, Size?, Millets, Blacks, Scotts, Millets Sport에서 주문한 1천만 명의 고객 주문 건수에 대한 정보에 외부 접촉이 발견되었다고 한다. 현재 유출 의심 정보는 1천만 고객 이름, 청구서 주소, 배송 주소, 이메일, 전화번호, 카드 마지막 4자리 정도라고 한다.
JD 측은 사고 발견 즉시 사고 조사와 함께 대응 조치를 시작했고, 영국 개인정보보호 감독기관 ICO(Information Commissioner’s Office)에 협조 요청을 구했다.
국내에서도 JD 독점(Exclusive) 아이템이 종종 발매되어 JD와 Size? 스토어 직구 유저들이 많다. 이제, 공공재에 가까운 개인정보지만, 혹시 모르니 주의를 요한다.

We are advising them to be vigilant about potential scam e-mails, calls and texts and providing details on how to report these.
